Simply Adorable
Super cute, this one. The client breeds dalmatians, and she had seen a painting of mine of a lady in that style of negligee. She wanted something with the same feel, but with her dogs in it.
The brief for this pet portrait was to capture all three dalmatians and their differing personalities, each with her own characteristics, along with their lovely owner, in soft colours that would sit well with the decor of her room.
The client was thrilled, because every one of her babies could easily be recognised.
The painting that was the inspiration
When my client saw Our Little Secret, it spoke to her, possibly reminding her of herself. She then told me about her lovely dalmatians, and Simply Adorable was born.
