Ingrid

Ingrid is one of those collectors who buys for herself, and I love that about her. Her home is her sanctuary, and over the years she has filled it with my work, commissions and limited editions side by side, until it became her own little Natalie Dyer gallery.

This was one of the pieces she commissioned. A gift to herself.

The painting is black and white, but Ingrid has always had flame red hair. So I ran a few coils of burnt orange through it, and a touch of the same on her lip. A small accent that tells you it is Ingrid, to anyone who knows her.
