Glamming at the Lambing

This unique and lovely commission was a gift from a very long time friend to her best friend, who had gone to live on a farm in New Zealand.

Both ladies were, in past lives, somewhat fashionistas, and they did love their champagne. So designer gumboots were essential to work into this painting, along with glamorous clothing, jewellery, and an exotic cheeseboard to add to lunch. Even if lunch was out in the middle of the paddock in the middle of lambing season.

These sheep are not just any old sheep, but a breed especially farmed on this property.
