Contemporary Night View, Perth

Another of the 225 original paintings commissioned for The Richardson, the boutique hotel in West Perth, in 2005.

Where most of that commission looked outward to the flora and landscapes of Western Australia, this one turned to the city itself after dark. The hotel was designed by the British architect Sir Terry Farrell, and a contemporary night view felt right at home in it.
